Create your family’s account and set up the basics.
When you first open Chores & Allowance Bot, tap “Sign Up”.
Your family only needs one account. If your family already has one, don’t create a new account on this device. Tap “Link Device” instead and link it to your family’s account with a code from a parent’s device. No password is needed, and the parent chooses what the device can do (see Linking Your Child’s Device). You can also tap “Log In” and use the same email and password, but linking is the easier and safer way to add a second device.
Enter your email address and a password of at least 6 characters.
(Optional) Tap the eye button to see the password.
Tap “Sign up”, then check that your email address is correct and confirm it.
Choose how you want to use the app.
“Get all the Premium features” starts a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. “Use the Base features” is free. You can change your plan any time in the Settings tab, under Subscription Settings.
Tap “Create Passcode” and enter a four digit parental passcode, then enter it again to verify it.
Keep the parental passcode secret so your children can’t use the parental features of the app.
Select how often you want allowance to be paid: Daily, Weekly (on the day you choose), or By Date (on the days of the month you choose).
Tap “Save”. You can change this later in the Settings tab, under Account Settings.
Tap “Continue”, then tap “Allow” so the app can send you reminders and notifications. You can choose which ones in the Settings tab, under Device Settings, then Notifications.
Congratulations, you have created your Chores & Allowance Bot account!
